Teresa Slabinski

Teresa Ann Slabinski of Carmel, IN, passed away on May 28, 2026, at the age of 73. She was born in Wilkes - Barre, PA, on June 22, 1952, to parents, Angelo and Yolanda (Stanziale) Capristo.

Teresa married Joseph “Joe” Slabinski on August 19, 1972 and spent nearly 54 dedicated years together. Joe and Teresa raised their family in Plains, PA before relocating to Indiana in 1994. She is survived by her husband, Joe; children, Maggie (Patrick) Fassnacht, Katie Slabinski, Elisabeth (Jody Parrish) Slabinski; her grandchildren, Sami and Josh Fassnacht, Maddox Slabinski, and Hudson Parrish; sister, Rose Capristo.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Teresa’s honor may be made to The American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s.
