Teresa Gail Bandy

Teresa Gail Bandy, 58, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Sunday June 22, 2025, after a long-fought illness.

Teresa was born on April 2, 1967, to Robert and Wilma (Browning) Coffey. She was self-employed and took great pride in working alongside Raymond, finding joy and purpose in their shared efforts.

Teresa was a devoted wife to her beloved husband Raymond and a loving mother whose warmth and creativity touched everyone around her. She had a passion for crafting, especially, making her jewelry and embroidering with care and detail. Teresa loved crafting anything Christmas related. She also enjoyed keeping her nails perfectly done. Above all, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, and she especially cherished every moment with her grandchildren. Her heart was most at peace at the family cabin in Somerset, Kentucky – her true happy place.

Teresa is survived by her loving husband Raymond Bandy; children Krystle Asa, Nick Bandy, Zack Bandy (Jackie), Brittany Gibson (David); mom Wilma Coffey; siblings Robert Coffey Jr. (Sherri), Donald Coffey (Lynn); grandchildren: Caleb, Gabe, Jayda, Lilly, Bri, Mallory, Ethan, Kennedy, Vivian; her favorite niece Tressie, as well as many other nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her dad Robert Coffey; sister Renee’ Coffey; and grandparents Wilmer and Olga (Gram) Browning.

Visitation for Teresa will take place on Monday June 30, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Home, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229, from 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral services will take place the following day on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 12:00pm followed by burial at Washington Park East Cemetery.
