Tanya Rose, 45, of Indianapolis, Indiana, left this world far too soon on September 13, 2026. She was born on November 12, 1980, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to parents, Tim Amet and Myrna (Laxton) Amet.

Tanya will be remembered as a spunky woman with a fun personality and a deep love for her family. Her deep faith was a quiet but constant source of strength, guiding her steps and comforting her spirit. She especially cherished spending time with her mother and her siblings, and those close to her knew how much joy she found in being with the people she loved most. Her warmth, spirit, and lively nature left a lasting impression on those around her.

She completed high school and went on to work at the Range USA store in Carmel. In her everyday life, Tanya brought her own unique sense of delight to the world. She had a remarkable love for spiders and enjoyed catching them and holding them, whether they were big, small, or jumping. It was one of the many things that made her unforgettable to those who knew her well. She also held a deep love and bond with her cats

Family and friends will remember Tanya for the energy she brought into a room, the affection she had for her loved ones, and the distinctive interests that reflected her one-of-a-kind spirit. Her life was marked by closeness with family, a playful personality, and the simple but meaningful joys that she embraced so fully.

Tanya is survived by her mother, Myrna Amet; her siblings, Steven Storms, Candice Storms, Cindy Brown, Kristen Airhood, and Tina Kopf.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tim Amet; daughter Elliana Miller, sister Stephanie Schumacher and sister Lori Fulks.

Visitation for Tanya will be from 12pm-2pm, on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Flanner Buchanan – Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite) – 9700 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46250. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
