Sylvia Katz

Sylvia Rubuls Katz 63, passed away on April 12, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on September 15, 1951 in Indianapolis, IN to Raymond and Rita Dakters Rubuls. Sylvia graduated from Broad Ripple High School and attended Ball State University. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Anita Rubuls, and her husband Charles Katz. Sylvia's friends extend their sincere thanks to St. Vincent Seton Hospital and St. Vincent Hospice for their loving care of Sylvia during her final months. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10 a.m. at Flanner and Buchanan-Broad Ripple. Interment will follow at Floral Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Indianapolis Latvian Community Ladies Auxiliary Committee, 1008 W. 64th St., Indpls., IN 46260 or a favorite charity.
