Sydney Elaine Campbell

Sydney Elaine Campbell, 19 of Carmel, was born in Indianapolis on April 28, 1992. She graduated from Carmel High School in May 2010 where she was a member of the marching band and jazz band. She played flute, mellophone and saxophone. After graduating from high school, Sydney proved herself to be a very determined, responsible and hard-working individual who set and achieved many goals in her short life. She graduated from Aveda Fredericks School of Cosmetology in 2011 and was quickly hired by Aveda. Sydney was a life-long member of Church at the Crossing where she participated in many charities, ministries and work groups. She helped organize and serve Thanksgiving meals for the underprivileged in her community. Sydney had a compassionate heart for all living things, including her pit-bull puppy, Mason. She lived and loved life to the fullest and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was fortunate and extremely blessed to have found the love of her life and soul-mate, Jason Uhrin, while in high school. Sydney and Jason were called to heaven together by our Lord and Savior on the same day; December 28, 2011. Memorial services will be at 4:00 pm Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Church at the Crossing. Sydney is survived by her parents, Bruce N. and Shelley T. Campbell; sisters, Shea Elizabeth and Mia Nicole Campbell; grandparents, Thomas and Cassandra Tackett, Jim Campbell, Barbara Campbell; aunts and uncles, Stacy and Ross Tackett, Jan and Sean Stuck, Glenn Campbell; great aunts and uncles, Max and Jacquie Cain, Art and Betty Ann Brill; cousins, Victoria Grace, James Ross, Alexis Antoinette Tackett, Olivia Rose Stuck Bradley Campbell and Kyle Campbell. "Sydney, we love you and miss you more than words can say and we will one day be together again in Heaven. You brought out the best in everybody and this world was a better place with you in it. We will love you always, you family." The family wishes to thank the St. Vincent Hospital trauma team for all of their assistance; and special thanks to trauma nurse, Renee Trainor.
