Susan K. Thatcher

Sue, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026, at the age of 77. 

Born to William H. Stolte and Mary Alice Stolte, Sue was a devoted Christian, she found great joy in her church community and lived her faith through forgiveness and volunteering her time and self in preaching the word of God. 

Known for her warm hospitality and vibrant social life, Sue loved bringing people together. She hosted many family gatherings and entertaining friends over the years.

She was a proud member of Alpha Omicron Pi (AOII) and Tri Kappa, organizations through which she formed lifelong friendships. 

She leaves behind her two sons, her grandson, and her granddaughter. She also leaves behind extended family members and dear friends who will deeply miss her. 

May she rest in God's eternal peace. 

A private memorial service will be held for the family.
