She graduated from Broad Ripple High School in 1958 and graduated from Indiana University in 1962. After graduation she raised three children and worked at IBM for 32 years, where she retired in 1996.
Sue was proud to be a member of the Midwest Divers Scuba Club where she became an avid diver over the years obtaining several PADI diver certifications with the highest being Rescue Diver. She dove in all-weather from Indiana rock quarry Ice dives to Bahamas Islands and eventually Papua New Guinea in Fiji.

She cleaned the shark tank and worked in the Summer's pavilion, where she tidied up after the reptiles.
For the past two years, Sue lived in Memory Care in Beavercreek, Ohio, courageously facing dementia. She was safe and well cared for, even as the disease gradually took away so much of who she was and how she experienced the world. Yet, despite these challenges, she would still smile whenever her favorite song played, reminding all of us of the warmth and joy she always brought to those around her.
