Susan Elizabeth Moore

Susan Elizabeth Moore, 88, of Pittsboro, died 2/21/21.  She was born 10/5/32 in Indianapolis to Herbert and Elinor Spencer.  She was preceded in death by her husband James Moore, her daughter Diane Moore, and grandson Zachery Hilgemeier.  She is survived by her sons Robert, Russell, James, daughter Margaret Lineback. She has eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  She graduated from Indiana University and was an Alpha Chi.  She retired from Americana Nursing Home where she opened and managed the first Alzheimer’s unit in the United States.  There will be a Celebration of Life at a future date.
