"Susan, 82, passed away on April 24th, Friday, at 10:20 pm peacefully being greatly loved by all that had come across her. She was exceedingly true to me and as a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother was totally warm and outgoing with all. Her light, warmth, and glow of happiness will be remembered and missed by all. A celebration of her life will be held June 17th.
Susan was such of a part of me and I of her that our love is and ever shall be eternal.
Susan was immersed in her art profession, its manifestations that when she couldn’t any longer she became somewhat crippled in her charter in her life’s expressions.
From the time I met my dear Susan, life was very different and we want life together with added fulfillment and a comfort of happiness that never could have been fulfilled otherwise.
Richard E. Campi,
April 25 – 26, 2026
P.S. – Susans’ birth was to become ethereal to me, others, a most fortunate happenstance. This speck in time afforded us, however worthy of any of us came to be."

Susan taught art for many years in various schools in Maryland and Indianapolis. She was a talented and prolific artist, using a variety of medium: paint, charcoal, clay, fabric and her favorite, “Found Objects”!
As a teacher, she was patient and intuitive to her students’ needs. She used those skills for other subjects, including the Evelyn Woods reading course and swimming. Her favorite place on earth was the Grachur Club on the Magothy River in Pasadena, MD where she enjoyed swimming and sailing with her family and forged lifelong friendships.
Susan was active in her community, helping those in need. She and Richard joyfully served as Mr. and Mrs. Claus for local children, Richard for 30 years and Susan for 12. She was a member of the YMCA, local yoga classes, book clubs, quilting clubs and committees. Her creative talent was evident in her gardening, cooking, baking and sewing
