Sue Shannon Warrick

Sue Shannon Warrick, 77, Indianapolis, IN, passed away on May 14, 2011. She was born June 14, 1933 in Halls, Tennessee to the late Jack and Bee (Corum) Shannon. Sue was retired from INA, was a long time member of the Insurance Women's Association and was a Mary Kay representative for over 25 years. She is survived by her husband Ronald, daughter Beth Roland Reams (Paul) of Woodstock, GA, son, Jeffrey Roland (Ruth) of Baton Rouge, LA, step-son Jeffrey Warrick of Lebanon, IN and step-daughter Jennifer Warrick of Austin, TX. Sue also leaves eight grandchildren: Richard Reams (Katie), Charlie Reams, Cole Roland, Gwen Roland, Adam Warrick, Andrew Warrick and Jenna Warrick. She is also survived by her brother, Jack Shannon, and sister-in-law, Barbara Shannon. She was an active member of Westview Christian Church, was on the Regional Board of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the board for Church World Service, as well as being a member of Church Women United. Sue sang in the choir at Westview for many years and shared her joy of singing with her friends and family throughout her life. Along with her husband Ron, she ushered at a number of theaters in the Indianapolis area and even returned to the stage after many years for several productions, including Daughters of the Lone Star State and Fiddler on the Roof. Visitation will be at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center Washington Park North on Monday May 16, 2011 from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral will be at Westview Christian Church on 5925 West 34th Street Indianapolis, IN at 11am on Tuesday May 17, 2011.
