Sue Ellen Haffey

Sue Ellen Haffey 76, Indianapolis, passed away July 29, 2011. She was a bookkeeper for Meijer for 10 years, retiring in 2000. Sue had sung with the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir. She grew up in the Methodist Faith and was baptized in the United Methodist Church in Banta, IN. Sue is survived by her children, Mike (wife, Lisa) Haffey of Noblesville, IN and Janet Haffey-Davis of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Lindsey and Christy Haffey; sister, Carolyn Wray and brothers, Jim and Dennis Haupt. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, James H. Haffey; sister, Lois Dresslar and her parents. Services for Sue will be at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., with visitation from 4 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
