Sue E. Carder, 80, of Fishers, Indiana, passed away on August 13, 2026. She was born on September 19, 1945, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late William and Sarah Jane Lattimer.

Sue's warmth and generosity were apparent to everyone she met. She truly never met a stranger. Loved ones remember Sue for her friendly and loving nature. She poured her heart into nurturing connections, whether within her church, her community, or her home.

Sue was a devoted participant in her Bible study and small group meetings at church. There, she fostered meaningful relationships through her faith. These gatherings were filled with conversation, reflection, and support.

Sue loved all types of crafts, including crochet and cross stitch. She spent her time tending to her plants and flowers, and she loved to read. Sue collected cookbooks of every variety. She also enjoyed museums and historical places.

She spent her days with rounds of golf, games of bridge, and the quiet moments spent appreciating art and music. Sue’s love for travel, particularly family vacations and get-togethers, created cherished memories for all.

Of all her accomplishments, Sue was most proud of her roles as a teacher, a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a beloved grandmother.

Sue is survived by her spouse, Victor; children, Jeff Carder, Debbie Kirby, Greg Carder, and Jon Carder; grandchildren, Conner, Evan, Owen, Lucas, Madison, Charlie, Logan, Adam, and Crosby.

She was preceded in passing by her parents.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, September 12, from 10am to 11:30am, with a Memorial Service to follow at 12pm, at New Hope Presbyterian Church,12550 Brooks School Rd, Fishers, IN 46037.
