Steven Smith

Steven P. Smith, age 48, of Indianapolis died June 29th, 2014. He was born on October 18th, 1965 in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Paul I. and Mildred Smith. Steve is survived by his daughters Hannah Smith and Brittany Soderberg; sisters Diana Baker, Lecia Hollis (husband Mark), Patty Smith, and Linda Robinson; nieces Alicia Testin, Rachelle Robinson, Sarah Hollis, Kelsey Baker, Mackenzie Baker and nephews David Robinson, Kennith Hollis, Jack Baker. Steve graduated from Zionsville High School in 1984 and was a member of The American Legion Post 79 SAL. He worked as a long time butcher for large retail grocery chains. Steve was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He enjoyed socializing with friends and family, watching sports, working on vehicles, fixing things, working outdoors, and playing a mean game of Euchre. A Memorial Service and calling will be held Wednesday July 9, 2014 at Flanner and Buchanan – Zionsville. Calling is from 4:30 P.M. - 6:30 P.M. and service to follow with dinner at The American Legion Post 79 at 7:00. In Lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in Steven's Honor may be made to The American Heart Association.
