Steven N. Cochran

Steven N. Cochran, 62 of Carmel, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012. Steve was born December 19, 1949 in Toledo, Ohio to Rollin and the late Evaline Wilson Cochran. He was a 1971 graduate of Ball State University. Steve joined Ringler Associates, Inc. in 1987, now serving as President of Ringler Indianapolis. He is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and a member of the Indianapolis Chapter of the Association of Life Underwriters, the National Association of Life Underwriters and the National Structured Settlements Trade Association. He served as President, Vice President and Secretary-Treasurer of the Indianapolis Claims Managers Council. Steve was a member of Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, Woodland Country Club and Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Friday, February 17 at Orchard Park Presbyterian Church. Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday, February 16 at Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel Steve is survived by his wife of 33 years, Marian F.; sons, Jeffrey S., Jeremy T. (wife, Christina Baulch) and Kevin W. Cochran; father and step-mother, Rollin and Minerva Cochran; brothers, Gary A. and Doug R. Cochran. Memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scouts of America Crossroads of America Council or the Hamilton County Humane Society.
