Steven J. Berry

Steven J. Berry 70 of Indianapolis, IN passed away unexpectedly at his home on the morning of March 7, 2013. Steven was born to the late Roy and Ruby Berry in Washington, Indiana. He is also preceded in death by his son Daniel D. and his brothers, Harvey and Danny Berry. He is survived by his loving wife Ruth N. (McFerron) Berry, of 46 years, his son Michael and his wife, Sondra, grandchildren, Sommer, Michael and Cody. Steven served in the U S Navy aboard the USS Tulare (aka-112). He was a faithful member at Shelby Street Pentecostal Lighthouse Church where he was a dedicated church secretary and worked in the church pantry and feeding the homeless. He worked at Terminal Transport, retired from CF Motor Freight and was a member of Teamsters Local #135. Services will be Monday March 11, 2013 1 PM at Flanner and Buchanan-Decatur with visitation there Sunday March 10th 3-8 PM. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery- Glenns Valley, IN.
