Steven R. Harnish

Steven Ray Harnish, 74, of New Palestine, Indiana, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026.

Steve was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and trusted friend. His life was defined by his steadfast love for family, quiet strength, and the kindness he extended to those around him. He found his greatest joy in the time spent with the people he loved most, and the memories he created with them will be treasured forever.

Steve is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Juanita Harnish; his two sons, Brad Harnish (Angela) and Craig Harnish (Amy); and his three grandsons, Jonathan, Jacob, and Seeley, who brought immeasurable pride and happiness to his life.

Steve's legacy lives on through the family he cherished and the countless lives he touched with his generosity, humor, and unwavering love. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A short graveside service celebrating Steve's life will be begin on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Flanner Buchanan - Cumberland Trails – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229.

Though Steve's presence will be greatly missed, the love he shared and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
