Steven Ferrell, 64, of Greenfield, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. Born on March 1, 1961, in Indianapolis to Homer R. Ferrell and Myrtle Sue (Davis) Ferrell, Steven was a proud father and grandfather.
Steven was a free spirit. He spent his life working in flooring, construction, and as a pipeline layer with Miller Pipeline and took pride in a job well done. He enjoyed blaring his rock music at full volume, spending time with his family, and taking power walks with his dog, Poochers, who was always by his side.
Steven often said, “Smile and pass it on.” He believed in spreading kindness, one smile at a time.
He is lovingly remembered by his children: Charity (Mark), Stevie (Amanda), and Crystal (Joel); his six grandchildren; one great granddaughter; seven siblings; and his dog, Poochers. Each of them will carry his memory in their hearts.
Steven now joins his parents, Homer and Sue, as well as his brother Gary and sister Virginia, in peace.
While his family mourns his death, they find comfort knowing he is now with the Lord, where he is healed and no longer suffering.
A visitation will be held in Steven's honor 11-2pm Monday the 9th with a service to follow at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East.
