Steven David Woodward

Steven David Woodward, 49, of Carmel passed away unexpectedly April 1, 2023.  He was born February 8, 1974, in Mississauga, Ontario the son of Gordon and Carol Ann (Hallam) Woodward.  He married Lea Sutera on October 15, 2005.

Steven was fiercely loyal and generous to his family and friends, a brilliant entrepreneur and a storyteller extraordinaire.  If he knew you and loved you, there was nothing he wouldn’t do to help and guide you.  His stories could easily captivate a room of people, and those lucky enough to spend time with him in his life, and hear his storytelling are better people for it.  Steven loved all sports, and played competitive hockey through college, and helped coach his boys’ sports teams.  He was the President and driving force behind the company he started in 2019.  He quickly grew it into a multi-million dollar business employing more than 100 people – his work ethic was extraordinary.  He loved attending concerts with friends and family – any of those in the future without him will never be the same.  His impact on those who knew him is immeasurable and he will be sorely missed for the rest of our lives.

Steven is survived by his wife Lea, sons Griffin, Tucker and Camden, his brother Kevin and his wife Stacey, his father Gordon and predeceased by his mother Carol Ann.  Steven was also dearly devoted to his five nephews, Connor, Ryan, Allesandro, Luciano and Giovanni.

Sharing of Memories will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023 at The Meeting House, 3rd floor – The Hoagy Carmichael Ballroom, 2000 North New Market Street, Carmel, IN 46032.  Followed by a Celebration of Life Gathering from 12 noon until 3:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Barth Syndrome Foundation, in honor Connor Grant Woodward, Steven’s nephew.  Online condolences may be shared by visiting www.flannerbuchanan.com.
