Steve D. Koser

69, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 6th, 2016. Steve adored his family and friends, including his Dachshund Fritzie, he was always there to help anyone in need. He loved antique cars, this included his 1949 Ford which he enjoyed driving on 465 to see how fast it would run; his dream car was a corvette. Steve and Carol loved to take trips, they finally traveled to Florida, where he was able to see the ocean before he passed. The family would go camping in their cabin and trailer, he loved getting out of the city. He worked as maintenance at Wingate Apartments, he then went on to work in maintenance and building tables at LOGO 7, finishing his career at the Lawrence Township Schools where he worked on the grounds.

Steve is survived by wife, Carol, son, Steve (Paula) Koser,Jr., Step-children, Ronetta (Stan) Wright, Steven Gilliam, Christina Webb; Sisters, Marilyn Shurtleff, Darlene (Gene) Bias, Pam (Bob) Ahlbrand; brother-in-law, Jeff Henson; Father-in-law, Tommie Henson, mother-in-law, Chris Henson; along with his grandchilden, great grand-children, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 3:00pm Monday, October 10, 2016, the family will receive visitors from 1:00pm until time of service at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. Burial to follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
