Steven Wayne Buckallew

Steven Wayne Buckallew, 77, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away on June 8, 2025. He was born on June 3, 1948, to parents Wayne and Helen (Wahl) Buckallew.

He worked for Indianapolis Water Company for many years. Steve was a devoted outdoorsman who found peace and purpose in nature. A hardworking man through and through, Steve approached life with grit and determination.

Steve is survived by his children Chandler Buckallew and Brandy (Christopher) Stevens; his sister Pamela (Robert) Herbert; his grandchildren Tyler Gill, Abigail Stevens, and Zachary Stevens; and his great-granddaughter Alaina Gill.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Helen Buckallew; siblings Ronnie Buckallew, and David Buckallew; and grandson Joshua Stevens.

Visitation for Steve will take place Monday June 16, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Home, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229, from 11:00am – 1:00pm, followed by a funeral service at 1:00pm.
