Steven Adams

Steven Michael Adams 64, of Indianapolis, loving husband, father and grandfather, gently passed away on Sunday morning, January 11, 2015. Steven was born in Madison Indiana to Raymond and Wanda (Callis) Adams on September 15, 1950. He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving from 1968- 1972. After service, he worked as a mechanical engineer for Loyal Manufacturing retiring in 2014. He was an avid golfer, Indy 500 fan and loved to go fishing. He was a member of the Thatcher Golf Club League for many years. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Denise Johnson Adams, son Scott (Kari) Adams, daughter Stacy (Shawn) Graves, daughter Heather (Keith) Pike, brother Lee Adams, sister Susie Owens, 11 grandchildren Josh, Beth, Nick, Sophia Adams, Conner, Katie, Ben Pierce, Taylor Springer, Ty Graves, Austin Graves, Heather (Michael) Meredith and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4-8pm at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center- Floral Park, with services Thursday at 11am in the funeral center. Inurnment will be in Floral Park Cemetery.
