Stephen Marion Roseman
Stephen Marion Roseman, born February 1, 1948, was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be remembered for his deep love of family, his passion for sports and fishing, and the laughter he brought to those around him.
Stephen was preceded in death by his daughter, Casey; his parents, Joseph Roseman and Lorene “Carr” Roseman; his in-laws, Paul “Bud” Fangman and Carole (Sanders) Fangman; his seven brothers and one sister; three nephews; one brother-in-law; and four sisters-in-law.
He is survived by his beloved wife of more than 49 years, Lee (Fangman) Roseman; his sons, Stephen (Wendy) Roseman and Sean (Meghann) Roseman; and his four cherished grandchildren, Harper, London, Kenzie, and Will. He is also survived by 13 in-laws and 48 nieces and nephews, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Stephen attended Holy Angels and Cathedral and went on to work for FMC Link-Belt for 22 years.
An avid sportsman throughout his life, Stephen participated in several sports, with bowling holding a special place in his heart. He was an accomplished scratch bowler and greatly enjoyed the competition and camaraderie the sport provided. He also found great fulfillment in coaching grade-school football and baseball. His love for football continued through his involvement with Cathedral, where he proudly worked the chains during football games.
Fishing was another lifelong passion and one of Stephen’s favorite ways to relax. He enjoyed all types of fishing, but what made it most meaningful was sharing the experience with his children and grandchildren. Many treasured family photographs capture those special moments together.
Above all, Stephen treasured his family. Some of his happiest times were spent gathered around the table playing cards, telling stories, and enjoying the company of those he loved. Family gatherings were often accompanied by Stephen’s unmistakable laughter sound that will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
Stephen leaves behind a legacy defined not by accomplishments alone, but by the relationships he built, the traditions he helped create, and the love he had for his family. His memory will live on through his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family, and the many people whose lives he touched.
Stephen will be deeply missed, but the laughter, stories, traditions, and memories he shared with his family will remain with them for generations to come.
