Stephen Richard Bell, 72, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away from pneumonia and COVID-19 complications on September 5, 2021. He was born on September 15, 1948, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Robert E. and Edna M. Bell.
Steve was known for his work in the field of audio engineering. He won several awards for his work. He was a senior audio engineer at ON24 in Charlotte, North Carolina and was an audio producer at CPI Audio in Atlanta, Georgia where he produced Medishare commercials and audio posts for Word 4 Word Kids by Betsy Beers. He also musically directed projects at PCG Media, Catspaw Productions, MIDILAB He also the course director at Full Sail Real World Education in Orlando, Florida. Steve was a 1966 graduate of Franklin Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana and studied business administration at Franklin College in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Steve was no stranger to the music world. He was a member of many musical bands such as the Indianapolis GT’s, The Lady Band, and Arion.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Bell, his mother, Edna M. Bell, his son, Geoffrey Bell, grandson, Cody Bell, and his grandparents, Dorothy and Walter Donnell and Ivan and Beatrice Denwood. He is survived by his daughters, Brianne Bell and Michelle Martinez (Johnathan) son, Rob Gundling (Kim), sister, Roberta Evans (Mike), cousin, Virginia Cope (Jason), and granddaughters, Kayla and Emma Freeman and Dana Gundling, nephews Greg Chiado (Carrie) and Dan Chiado (Annie) and several great nieces and nephews.
A virtual Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
