Stephen C. Jugg

Stephen Charles Jugg, 71 of Greenwood, passed away on Saturday June 19, 2021 with his family by his side. He was born on December 6, 1949 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Arthur Stephen and Aileen Laverne Jugg. Steve was a proud Air Force Veteran, husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed playing golf, and bowling in adult and youth leagues with his sons.

Steve attended Holy Trinity Catholic School, Cathedral High School, and obtained two associates degrees from Ivy Tech. He spent four years in the Air Force, then went on to be an air traffic controller following his service. Steve was the owner and operator of V.I.P. Marathon at 30th and Shadeland for over 20 years.

Steve is survived by his wife of 43 years, Patty Jugg; son, Steve (Michelle) Jugg; grandchildren, Chairo Jugg, and Samantha (Danny) Winship; great grandchildren, Presley and Cameron; sister, Sheila (Conard) Terhune; and brothers, David (Deb) Jugg and Douglas (Betty) Jugg; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in passing by his son, Donald “Donnie” Dean Webb Jr.

A Memorial mass will begin at 10:00 am on Friday June 25, 2021 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church (89 N 17th Ave, Beech Grove, IN 46107), followed by military honors at the graveside. Please join Steve’s family following the burial at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park (9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229), for cookies and refreshments. Memorial contributions may be made to the Indianapolis Firefighters Emerald Society or to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
