Stella Pearle Roach

Stella Pearle (Mingee) Roach 91, of Franklin, IN passed away May 1, 2014. She was born in Humerick, IL, on December 21, 1922 to the late Ernie and Lacy Mingee, and spent most of her adult years in and around Indianapolis. She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Samuel Roach, sisters Imogene and LaFerne, and brother Leonard. Stella worked as an Executive Secretary for nearly 45 years and still managed to keep a home and raise a family. She loved to play the piano and enjoyed classical music. Although her family will miss her, they know she was a true Christian and so is with Jesus now Stella is survived by her sons, Vincent (Rosalie) Roach and Paris (Kris) Roach, six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 2 pm – 4 pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., with a service beginning at 4pm.
