Her nurturing nature extended beyond her immediate family, reaching into the broader community where she made a significant impact.

In her youth, Stella displayed a passion for learning. She pursued her education with diligence at IPS school #4 and eventually graduated from Crispus Attucks High School. In church, she served on the usher board and pastor’s aide committee. She also served as a precinct committee member in her community. She worked for Western Electric for 35 years until she retired in 1994.

Throughout her life, Stella found great joy and fulfillment in her roles as a loving devoted mother, doting grandmother, aunt, and cherished friend. Her family was the center of her world, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to their happiness and well-being. Her unconditional love and support created a foundation of strength and unity that will endure for generations to come.

Stella's legacy of compassion and empathy will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her wisdom, sage advice, and comforting presence will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
