Stella Elizabeth Wilhite

Stella Elizabeth Wilhite, 81, of Indianapolis, IN passed away December 9, 2011. She was an Auditor for the Internal Revenue Service retiring in 2007. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and Center Community Church. Stella was the widow of Donald Wilhite. Stella loved to play cards, watch sports, and was a devoted fan of the Indianapolis Colts. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother who never met a stranger as she loved life and family. She will always be remembered for her kindness, gentle ways, and hardly laugh. She will be missed. She is survived by her children, Howard Wilhite (Beverly), Kathryn Wilhite, Nancy Jack, Roy Wilhite; 3 grandchildren, Timothy Wilhite (Andea), Stephanie Jack, Peggy Abbott (Ethan); 3 great-grandchildren, Von Wilhite, Orrin Abbott, Myles Abbott, and other loving family members and friends. The Funeral Service will be conducted by Rev. Chuck Elston on Wednesday December 14, 2011; 1PM at Flanner and Buchanan-Decatur with visitation there from 11AM.
