Sonia Caceres

Business owner and devoted Christian,  Sonia Caceres’ love of life didn’t come to an end with her death but just temporary rest. Sonia passed away on May 15th, 2024, at the age of 50 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

 

As a child, Sonia was very independent and fearless, there was nothing she could not do. Sonia immigrated to the United States in her early adult years from El Salvador.  She was excited about life and overcame various obstacles as a hispanic women.  She married at the age if 20 to her beloved husband, Alfonso Caceres and had three sons and a very desired daughter. Sonia’s pride was in her children and family, whom she cared for with so much joy and passion; she wanted to give them the life that she never had.

 

Sonia was a people person who loved company. She would have family and friends over for coffee every day she could. She was the kind of person that would give without limitations. She also loved unwinding at the end of the day next to her husband reading the word or watching a series. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities. Her pleasant personality and laugh was contagious to everyone she met. Sonia is survived by her husband, Alfonso Caceres; sons, Harvey Caceres, Bryan Caceres, Alexander Caceres; a daughter, Ruth Caceres; a sister, Lissett De La Rosa; brothers, Jose Tobar Sanchez, Edgar Sanchez, Jose Arevalo Tobar; Mother Yolanda Tobar; father, Hernan Sanchez Melendez and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.



Empresaria y cristiana devota, el amor por la vida de Sonia Cáceres no terminó con su muerte, sino solo un descanso temporal. Sonia falleció el 15 de mayo de 2024 a la edad de 50 años después de una valiente batalla contra el cáncer, rodeada de seres queridos que seguirán honrando su legado viviendo sus vidas al máximo.
 
De niña, Sonia era muy independiente y valiente, no había nada que no pudiera hacer. Sonia emigró a los Estados Unidos en sus primeros años de adulta desde El Salvador.  Estaba entusiasmada con la vida y superó varios obstáculos como mujer hispana.  Se casó a los 20 años con su amado esposo, Alfonso Cáceres y tuvo tres hijos y una hija muy deseada. El orgullo de Sonia estaba en sus hijos y su familia, a quienes cuidaba con tanta alegría y pasión; quería darles la vida que ella nunca tuvo.
 
Sonia era una persona sociable que amaba la compañía. Invitaba a familiares y amigos a tomar un café todos los días que podía. Ella era el tipo de persona que daría sin limitaciones. También le encantaba relajarse al final del día junto a su marido leyendo la palabra o viendo una serie. Tenía una asombrosa habilidad para encontrar la felicidad en sus actividades diarias. Su agradable personalidad y su risa contagiaban a todos los que conocía. A Sonia le sobreviven su esposo, Alfonso Cáceres; hijos, Harvey Caceres, Bryan Caceres, Alexander Caceres; una hija, Ruth Cáceres; una hermana, Lissett De La Rosa; hermanos, José Tobar Sánchez, Edgar Sánchez, José Arévalo Tobar; madre Yolanda Tobar; padre, Hernán Sánchez Meléndez y muchos primos, sobrinas, sobrinos y amigos.
