Shirley L. Tutrow

Shirley Louise Tutrow, 87, of Indianapolis Indiana, passed away January 30th, 2026. Shirley was born in Beechville Kentucky on December 12th, 1938, to the parents of Wayne and Clara Oakes.

She attended Edmonton High School up to her junior year, and then moved to Indianapolis, Indiana.

Shirley worked and retired from Diamond Chain after 31 years.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband Arthur Tutrow; her daughter, Debbie Tutrow; her mother Clara Oakes; her father Wayne Oakes; her brother Larry Oakes; daughter in law Sandra Oakes and her niece Nancy Oakes.

Shirley is survived by her only son Gary Tutrow his wife Cindy Tutrow; her brother Billy Oakes; her 5 grandchildren and her 9 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held in her honor 11am-2pm Friday February 13, 2026, at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East Funeral Center with a graveside service to follow 2:30pm at Washington Park East Cemetery.
