Shirley Ray Harber

Mr. Shirley Ray Harber, 79, of Fountaintown, passed away on January 6, 2018.

Ray was born on December 17, 1938 in Livingston, KY to the late Lorine Betrice Riddell Harber and Arthur Jenkins Harber. He worked for Beech Grove Shops Railroad for 6 years, and retired from Ford Motor Company after 37 years of loyal service. Ray was an animal lover mainly horses and dogs, he had a strong work ethic, he was a kind and caring man, and loved his family dearly.

Ray is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Milford Eugene Harber, Robert Harber, and Floyd Harber. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Brenda Bowles Harber; daughter, Tricia Kindcaid Crawford (Matt); granddaughter, Taylor Kincaid; brother, William Jenkins Harber (Lovonda); former wife Patricia Harber (deceased); children, Tammy Harber and Rick Harber; Caleb Harber; and many nieces and nephews.

A small intimate family gathering will take place at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East from 12:00-3:00pm on Thursday, January 11, 2018.
