Shirley Kay Hernandez

Shirley Kay Hernandez, 64, of Indianapolis, passed away October 6^th, 2023. She was born in Rushville, Indiana, November 12^th, 1958, to parents Charles and Constance (Wells) Tucker.

Shirley is a 1977 graduate of Warren Central high school.

She worked as a dental assistant and manager of a family practice dental office for many years before retiring.

Shirley enjoyed traveling, especially to warm locations like Phoenix, and sunny beaches like Florida. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and adored her little dog, Esse.

She is survived by her father Charles Tucker; daughter Kaleigh Hernandez; stepson Toby; granddaughter Lyla Langley; and brother Jay (Jenny) Tucker; and several nieces, and great nieces.

Shirley is preceded in death by her mother Connie Tucker; and her spouse Samuel Hernandez, brother Jeffrey Tucker and Sister Catherine Flowers.

Visitation and gathering of family and friends will be Friday October 13^th, from 1-5pm, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East. Shirley will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
