Shirley C. Litch

Shirley C. Litch, 91, Indianapolis passed away December 23, 2014 at her home with family. She was born August 7, 1923 in Terre Haute to the late Nellie (Miesner) and Roudy Patterson. Shirley was a member of Lynhurst Baptist Church. Enjoyed her large family, reading, doing crosswords and was a great cook. Shirley is survived by her children, Nellie (Bob) Welch, Pat (Jan) Turner, Irma (Louren) Jones, Ree Proffitt, Dee Wright, Beth Nolan, Frosty Litch, Rick Litch, and Dennis (Theresa) Litch; 30 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Rosemary Rouse and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Thomas K. Litch and a daughter, Lynn Sloan; son-in-law, Randy Nolan; granddaughter, Theresa Wilson and a grandson, Dirk Welch. Services will be 1 pm Dec. 27, 2014 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, Visitation will be 11 am until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
