Shirley M. (Jones) Bower, 89, of Greenwood, IN, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026. She was born February 26, 1937, in Indianapolis, IN. Shirley married William “Bill” E. Bower on June 3, 1955, in Greenwood, IN; he preceded her in death on July 1, 2008.
Shirley was an active member of Greenwood Christian Church, where she faithfully served for many years as a worker in the kitchen.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. at the Greenwood Christian Church. Shirley requested that in lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to: Greenwood Christian Church, 2045 Averitt Road, Greenwood, IN 46143.
