Shirley "Jaye" Joslin transitioned into eternal rest June 5, 2015.
She was born December 6, 1928 in Chicago, IL to parents George & Carrie (Dieter) Joslin.
After graduating in 1947 from Thomas Carr Howe High School, Shirley worked as a secretary at Eli Lily for 17 years. She traveled to Hawaii, where she learned to dance the Hula. She later taught dance in a studio set up in her basement. She owned a bar, The Wishing Well, for a time also.
Shirley was a natural born entertainer, loving both singing and dancing. She performed at churches, bars, and various other events throughout her life. She also made the album titled "Candlelite Time".
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Harry Joslin and George Joslin; grandson, Shelton Hall; and daughter-in-law, Terrianne Breedlove.
Shirley is survived by her brother, Jim Waldron; son, Guy Miller; and daughter, Wanda (Kevin) Kendall; along with 7 grandchildren.
