Sheryl Lynn Roller 56, Indianapolis, went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on August 25, 2014. She was born on June 4, 1958 to Gilbert and Shirley (Dillahay) Manly. Sheryl was a member of Cathedral of Prayer Church in Plainfield, IN. She was a 1976 graduate of Avon High School. She was employed by Liberty Mutual Insurance (American States / Safeco) for 38 years.
Sheryl was known for her generous heart. She would help anyone she could. She loved working in her yard and planting flowers. Affectionately known by her 13 grandchildren as "MeeMaw" they all knew she had fruit snacks and other goodies in store for them when they would visit. Sheryl loved to shop. It seems that shoes was her favorite item to buy. She loved to go on vacation and visiting Maui twice was her favorite of all places.
On December 1, 2001 Sheryl became a Christian and served the Lord with her husband Tim. In August of 2012 Sheryl became the beloved Pastor's wife at Cathedral of Prayer in Plainfield. Sheryl was so loved by her church family and she loved them. She helped orgainize benefits for the many renevation projects the church was doing and she was very creative when it came to decorating.
Music was also important to Sheryl. She loved singing and was partial to the traditional hymns of the faith.
On April 15, 1995 She married Tim Roller. Sheryl is survived by her husband Tim Roller, Mother Shirley Manly of Plainfield, Brothers Mike and Brian Manly both of Indianapolis, Sister Mary Kay Storm of Edmund, OK, Sons Josh (April) Weddle of Greencastle. Travis Weddle (Megan Hodgin) of Plainfield, Misty Black (Richard) Sacramento, CA , Sarah Barker (Andy) of Indianapolis Tim Roller II (Jessica) of Mooresville. 13 grandchildren. Chelsey, Hunter, Mariah, Ethan, Troy, Naomi, Spencer, Olivia, Nathaniel, Simon, Noah, Jackson and Amelia. Aunts, Uncles and cousins and her beloved Dachsunds Mazy and Trudy.
The visitation for Sheryl will be a Flanner and Buchanan - Decatur Twp. Beginning at 4:00 p.m. On Friday August 29th until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at her church Cathedral of Prayer 8446 E. Co. Rd. 700 S. Plainfield, IN 1/4 mile south of I-70 at the SR-267 exit in Plainfield on Saturday August 30th at 11:00 a.m. With a one hour visitation before the service at 10:00 a.m. Sheryl will be buried at West Ridge Park Cemetery at Raceway and W. 21st Street. You're invited to make a contribution to Sheryl's church building program in her name. Mr. Roller and the family would especially like to thank all of the Dr's and nurses at St. Francis Hospital Beech Grove for their loving care and attention for Sheryl in her final days on earth. Also, to the wonderful therapist and staff at Community North Rehabilitation hospital. She could not have been in better care.
