Sheryl Ann Curbeaux, 66, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away January 4, 2018. She was born March 18, 1951 to David and Mary Duncan in Richmond, Indiana.
Though born in Richmond, she was a lifelong resident of Indy. She married Jerry Curbeaux April 18, 1986. Family remembers her as a spunky “hoot” who enjoyed music from Elvis to country and dancing, especially line-dancing. She was also a fan of cooking, arts and crafts and her reality shows, The Voice and Dancing With the Stars. Sheryl was also a lung cancer survivor, but stayed as spunky as ever despite her lasting ailments.
Sheryl is preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Edward Duncan (1986); and son, Todd Douglas Crockett (1987). Surviving to cherish her memory are Jerry, her loving husband of 31 years; children, Kent Trevor Crockett and Melody Maree’ Crockett-Catt (Dana); step-children, Mike Curbeaux and Dinita Curbeaux; brother, Ronald Eugene Duncan, 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, her beloved yorkie, Gracie, as well as her great-grand dog, Lola.
Friends and family may visit Saturday, January 13 from 2-6 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Decatur Township, 5463 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46221. Services for Sheryl will be held Sunday, January 14 at 12 PM at the funeral home.
