Sherrie L. Ragan
36, Fountaintown, passed away February 25, 2012.
Sherrie never was able to fulfill all her hopes and dreams. She struggled all her life with renal failure and then breast cancer. She never gave up hope and never complained. When told how brave she was she replied "What else can i do?" She loved her daughter Kalyn and her mother Rhonda, her step-dad Ralph and her brother Stephen, grandparents, Ron and Sylvia Ragan and her little puppy Charlie who gave her joy in the last year of her life. She was just all around an amazing person, never wanting anyone to feel sorry for her. She was a huge Keith Urban fan and was very fortunate she actually got up close with him at a concert and touched him, twice!
We little knew that evening God was going to call your name, in life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke are hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us is with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
At the time of her death Sherrie was surrounded by her loving family and aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. She will live in our hearts and minds forever and surely ascend to heaven to be with god, finally free of pain and suffering.
