Sheron Davis

Sheron Colleen Nunes Davis 70, of Indianapolis, passed away December 29, 2014. Sheron was born in Indianapolis on October 3, 1944 to parents, George and Vera Nunes. Sheron was a dedicated homemaker while her children were younger. She then went on to further her education, graduating from IUPUI with a bachelor's degree. During her career, she worked as a Disability Claims Adjudicator for the State Department, for over 20 years. She loved watching old movies, reading mystery books, working crossword puzzles and cooking. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Davis and brothers, Ted, Robert and Morey Nunes. She is survived by her daughters, Colleen Lakin and Kimberly Davis; grandchildren: Samuel, Maggie and Grace; as well as several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in Flanner and Buchanan- Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Good Shepherd Chapel.
