Shelton David Wiseman Morris
was born on May 29, 1994 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was the beloved son of Dewayne Courtney Morris and Leslie Jean Wiseman. Shelton departed his short life on Wednesday October 2, at the age of 19. His great grandparents Ether Pearl Rhodes, John Wilkes Rhodes, SR., Grandmother Carolyn L. Hoskins, and infant brother, Dewayne C Morris Jr. all preceded him in death.
Shelton received his formal education in Indianapolis, Indiana where he attended Fox Hill Elementary and North Central High school. Shelton professed his love for Christ at an early age attending both Light of the World Christian Church and Progressive Baptist Church with his Auntie and Grandmother respectively.
Shelton displayed amazing acting and athletic talents at an early age. He was so proud of his lead role in 'The Jungle Book" at Fox Hill. At 2 years old, Shelton was a regular at Riverside Golf Academy driving range with his 'Pa-Pa" Marshall. He amazed everyone with his golf swing and putting abilities at that age. He played golf in Douglass JR. Golf youth summer league. Shelton was an accomplished artist who exuded great vision and promise in his drawings and tattoo artistry. He also composed and performed rap lyrics. An icon in his neighborhood, Shelton was deeply loved and respected by his peers. He will always be remembered as a loving son, a caring brother to Patrick, a sweet grandson, endeared nephew, cousin and loyal, trusted friend.

Services will be held Friday October 11, 2013 at 12:00pm with visitation 10:00-12:00pm at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North. Entombment will be at Washington Park North Cemetery.
