Sharon Aliene Stinnett

Sharon Aliene Stinnett, 67 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, surrounded by family and love.

She was born on November 23, 1957, in Greenfield, Indiana to Jackie and Alice Burke.

Sharon was a woman with a big heart who loved fiercely. She had a smile/smirk that could light up any room and facial expressions that spoke volumes. Sharon was loyal, loud, and took no shit from anyone, except her baby boy. Throughout her life, she enjoyed camping with friends and family, boating, and taking care of her indoor jungle especially her prized plant Seymour. She loved to cook delicious meals while making a mess in the kitchen and watch sports from pro to her grandchildren. She was a deeply devoted mother, mom-mom, sister, aunt, loved one and friend

Sharon is survived by her children Allyson, Jordyn, and Darren; as well as her grandchildren Tyler, Timothy, Teya, Cadence (KK), Tinley, Isla and Alice. Sharon is also survived by her siblings Jackie, Pam and Jeff,

She was preceded in death by her parents Jackie and Alice Burke as well as her sister Marcia.

A gathering to celebrate her life will be held at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park (9350 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229) on Saturday October 11th from 2-4pm. Services will follow at 4pm.
