Sharon Mae O’Conner Ward

73, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 22, 2019.  She was born on August 8, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Floyd and Thelma O’Conner.  She was a graduate of Ben Davis High School.  She was retired from Western Electric and Wolfe-Swickard Machine Shop.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Donald and Roy O’Conner.  She is survived by her children, Joyce Kendall, Janice (Tony Kline) Ashby, Michael (Janet) Ashby and Dina Thomas; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings, James (Carolyn) O’Conner, David (Penny) O’Conner and Kathy Haught; sisters-in-law, Judy and Joan O’Conner.  A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 2 pm with calling one hour prior at Flanner Buchanan-Decatur Township.
