Sharon Jean Gallagher

Sharon Jean (Eads) Ross Gallagher was a respected, cherished and loved individual. There isn’t a person she met whose soul she did not offer repose. She left this earth to dance with the angels May 29th, 2026. She passed away surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on August 24th, 1947 to Ellen Marie (Mulryan) Sparks and Jesse Arnold Eads. She attended Harry E. Wood High School and briefly attended Indiana Central College. Sharon was an exceptional employee who gained a new family throughout her time working at Queens/Shorewood Packaging and Nice-Pak.

She loved fishing, gardening, race day, video games, camping, golfing and she would never miss a Colts game. She was a beautiful soul with a radiant spirit, who gave her heart to everyone she loved.

Sharon is survived by her daughters Trisha (Ross) Sims, and Gina Gallagher, her grandchildren, Rayne Perez and Ivey Sims, and her siblings Nancy Fitzgerald and Doug Sparks. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellen Sparks and Jesse Eads, and her siblings Kenneth Whitley, Phyllis Anderson, and Ronald “Ronnie” Eads who passed away in infancy.

Her life will be celebrated at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park Funeral Center 425 North Holt Road Indianapolis, Indiana on Saturday June 13, 2026 from Noon to 2 pm with Services beginning at 2 pm. Her final resting place will be in the Garden of Remembrance in Floral Park Cemetery.
