Sharon Elizabeth Young

Sharon E. Young 54, of Indianapolis, passed away September 11, 2011. She worked for the past 33 years for the UAW Local 933 President's office. She will be greatly missed by her family and is survived by her parents, Fred L. and Wilma L. (Dorton) Young; her sisters, Janet F. (Young) Smith and Judy K. (Young) Eacret; brothers-in-law, Jim Smith and Dan Eacret; nephews, Colin Eacret, David Smith, Michael Smith and niece, Kimmy Eacret. She was a member of the Phi Beta Psi Sorority and served as President for several years of OPEIU Local 1. Visitation will be at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center - Washington Park North from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with funeral services following at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 15th.
