Sharon J. Cloud

Sharon J. Cloud, 84, of Carmel, Indiana, passed away on May 8, 2026. She was born on May 30, 1941, in Pulaski, Indiana, to the late John and Cora Reutebuch.

She lived a life marked by warmth, generosity, and an infectious sense of humor that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Sharon was one of thirteen siblings, so she valued the importance of family from an early age. She was known for always lending a helping hand and taking care of her family and friends. She found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren, who lovingly referred to her as Maw-Maw.

Sharon loved decorating her house for holidays, with Christmas being especially meaningful to her. It was a time when she participated in family celebrations filled with laughter and making memories. She also greatly enjoyed the family’s annual Easter egg hunt, summer cookouts, and sharing chocolate ice cream with her grandchildren.

Sharon enjoyed fishing trips to Wisconsin and going to Michigan for the Fourth of July with family. She eagerly anticipated summers spent visiting her brothers and sisters back home.

Sharon is survived by her loving spouse of 63 years, Jerry; children, Melissa, Steve, Annette, Donny, Denise, Deanna, Larry, and Adam; 25 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Marlene Roth, Marcia Leaman, and Casey Derheimer; and countless nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 13, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, with a Mass at 10:30 am, at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 10655 Haverstick Rd, Carmel, IN 46033.
