Shane A. Crabtree

Shane A. Crabtree 38, Arcadia, passed away September 9, 2012. Shane graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and most recently with a Master's Degree in Sports Management. Sports and fitness were a big part of Shane's life. Shane was very physically fit and enjoyed competing in fitness challenges. He enjoyed all sports, but was an avid New York Yankee's fan. Shane is survived by his three children, Kyle, Quinn and Thai Crabtree; wife, Louretta Crabtree; parents, Wendell and Meleny Crabtree; grandparents, Charles and Norma Crabtree and Paul Stout; uncles Troey Stout and Brent Crabtree; aunts, Paula Stout, Elizabeth Purcell and Tamara Sluss. He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Anna Ruth Stout. Services for Shane will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, with visitation from 3 p.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
