Sean Parker Barksdale, 19, passed away August 22^nd, 2021. Sean was a highly passionate athlete and graduate of Hamilton Southeastern High School, Class of 2020. Basketball was a prominent sport in Sean’s life, where he established many lifelong friends and stayed involved with his community. Dedicated to the game of basketball, Sean also kept football and baseball close to his heart growing up admiring sports.

Sean was surrounded by loved ones everywhere he went, inspiring many around him with his big smile. Sean always made sure to strengthen his relationship with the Lord and set aside time to create loving memories with family and friends.

Sean was preceded in death by his father, Michael. Sean is survived by his mother, Kelly, and brothers: Justin, Aaron, and Steven; as well as many loving family members and friends. May Sean’s zest for life be remembered with love long after his passing.

Visitation will be held from 10am until 1pm, Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Flanner Buchanan-Geist (7855 Cork Road, Indianapolis), where funeral services will immediately follow beginning at 1pm.  Burial will follow services in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
