Robert "Scott" Walker 45, of Carmel, passed away March 14, 2014. He was a partner at Northview Properties, working in commercial property management and leasing. He was born on July 10, 1968 in Indianapolis, Indiana. While at Vincennes University he became a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. Upon completion of his academic work there, he attended the Ball State University School of Business. Scott's love of aviation then took him to Sowell Aviation in Panama City, FL where he graduated with a Commercial Pilot Single and Multi-Engine Instrument and Instructor ratings. He was a realtor at Coldwell Banker Schmidt Realtors (Suttons Bay, Michigan). Scott was a member of the National Association, Michigan Association, Traverse Area Association, and Metro Indianapolis Board of Realtors. A dedicated family man who always took pride in talking about his marriage of 22 years, Scott is survived by his loving wife Lori Anne Walker children Robert Miles Walker, and Madison Paige Walker, father Bob (Joyce) Walker, mother Judy (Frank) Bodwell, brother Chris (Jenny) Walker, niece Ellie Walker, father-in-law Tim (Denise) Trudeau, sister-in-law Cathy (Jeff) Poole, and brother-in-law Thomas Trudeau. Scott is preceded in death by his grandparents Robert and Helen Walker and Al and Betty Rust. Visitation will be held on Thursday March 20, 2014 at 11AM-2PM at Flanner and Buchanan –Carmel, 325 E. Carmel Drive with service beginning at 2PM. Graveside service will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Miles and Madison Walker Memorial Fund through FifthThird Bank.
