Sarah E. Bruns

Sarah Elizabeth (Davis) Bruns, 91 of Carmel, Indiana, passed away Friday, November 22, 2013 at Sunrise on Old Meridian. Sarah was born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on March 19, 1922 to the late Lloyd E. and Iscah (Stump) Davis. Sarah was predeceased by her husband, Warren H. Bruns to whom she was married for 61 years, 15 years of which she spent with him in Taipei, Taiwan. She is survived by daughter Susan (Chuck) Lang of Carmel, Indiana and sons Steven K. (Teri) Bruns of Cleveland, Ohio and John W. (Carrie) Bruns of Beijing, China. Her grandchildren include Bradley, Todd, and Oliver Lang, Lauren, Christine, Garrett and Taryn Bruns and great-grandchildren Nathaniel, Wyatt, Ashley and Chloe Lang. The family thanks the loving caregivers of Sunrise on Old Meridian and Harbor Light Hospice. Private family services will be held at a later date and interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermillion, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hamilton County Humane Society of Indiana or the charity of the donor's choice.
