Sarah Crouch

Sarah Elizabeth Crouch 81, Indianapolis, passed away March 16, 2015. Sarah was born in Lanette, AL on June 30, 1933 to parents, Rueben J. and Elizabeth (Blanton) Jennings. During her career, Sarah worked for the Girl Scouts of America as a Field Executive, retiring after 43 years. Sarah is survived by her children, William M. "Bill" Crouch (Hera) and Haden Crouch Barber; grandchildren: Aristea Crouch and Cameron and Ashton Barber; her beloved cat, Tigger; and numerous other family and friends, including the lifelong friends she had through Girl Scouts. Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Crouch; son, James R. Crouch and grandson, Alexander Crouch. Funeral services will be held at 1p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan- Broad Ripple, where calling will be held from 11am until the service time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sarah's name to the Girl Scouts of Central Indiana.
