Sara Haley

Sara Haley of Carmel, IN, died on March 14, 2025, at the age of 85. She was born in Anderson, IN, on June 6, 1939, to father, Robert Aylward and mother, Margie (Durgee) Larmore. Sara was a longtime member of 2nd Presbyterian Church, and she often enjoyed cooking.

Sara married Alvin “Al” Haley 1984, he preceded her in passing. She is survived by children, Laurie Kauffman, Linda (David) Jenkins, John (Julie) Haley, Lisa Haley, and Lona (Paul) Snyder; grandchildren, Danielle (Jason) Rekeweg, Keltie Haley, and Nick (Anna) Haley; and great grandchildren, Matthew and Caleb Rekeweg.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John D Aylward.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Second Presbyterian Church. Interment will be at Second Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Second Presbyterian Church or the Humane Society for Hamilton County Indiana.
